In an impressive road performance, the BWP Football Academy – U19s – 2006/07s defeated Yorktown SC 5-0, extending their unbeaten league record to 3-0-1. The match, played on Yorktown’s home pitch, was a testament to the team’s tactical discipline, clinical finishing, and depth of talent.

From the outset, BWP FA came out strong, dictating the tempo of the match. Their high-pressure game forced Yorktown into making mistakes early, and the visitors took full advantage. BWP Football Academy – U17s – 2008s Shut Out Don Bosco SC 5-0 in Rain-Soaked Victory at Christian Brothers Academy Albany

The BWP Football Academy – U17s – 2008s extended their unbeaten streak to four matches with a commanding 5-0 win over Don Bosco SC in a rain-soaked league fixture at Christian Brothers Academy in Albany. The conditions were far from ideal, with heavy rain turning the pitch into a slick and challenging surface. Despite the weather, the BWP FA U17s showcased a solid performance with and without the ball.

A Strong Start

From the jump, BWP FA came out firing on all cylinders, scoring on a restart in the stages of the contest. As the first half wore on, BWP FA continued to dictate possession, controlling the midfield and forcing Don Bosco into mistakes. Their backline was equally solid, with the rest defense snuffing out most threats Don Bosco posed on dispossession and the counter. BWP FA picked up right where they left off in the second half,f scoring in the first moments of the second half on a counterattack. With the game already well out of reach, BWP FA added two more goals shortly after.

Looking Ahead

With this convincing 5-0 victory, BWP Football Academy – U17s – 2008s continue their unbeaten streak in the league, maintaining a perfect record over their last four matches. Their next challenge will be a critical away fixture, but after such a solid performance in difficult conditions, they head into the next match eager to play again.

Both the BWP FA – U16s – 2009/10s and U14s – 2011/12s were washed out due to inclement weather.
