U17s Triumph in Round 3 of EDP North Atlantic League Play, Defeating Beekman Soccer Club 7-1

The BWP Football Academy’s U17s-2008s team clinched an impressive 7-1 victory over Beekman Soccer Club in Round 2 of the EDP North Atlantic League play, moving to the top of the table with a 3-0-0 start to league play. The road match, which took place this past weekend at Camp Nooteeming in Salt Point, showcased the academy’s depth, tactical discipline, and collective play as they extended their winning run. Dating back to the Fall of 2024, the BWP FA – U17s – 2008s have earned 9W 6D 3L throughout the campaign to date.

After taking a 3-0 lead, Beekman Soccer Club, despite being under pressure, managed to pull one back in the last minute of the first half off a corner kick, but it was little more than a consolation. BWP responded quickly in the second half, scoring four more goals to wrap up the match with a resounding 7-1 victory.

The win sees BWP Football Academy U17s – 2008s continue their undefeated streak in the EDP North Atlantic League, as they look to build momentum for the remainder of the season. Their clinical finishing, defensive solidity, and overall team chemistry will serve them well as they push for further success in the league. Their next match will be crucial as they look to maintain their position at the top of the league standings.

The BWP FA – U19s – 2006/07s drew 4-4 with Westside Red Bulls at Riverdale Country Day School, improving to 1-0-1 in league, sitting in a tie with Westside for the top spot in the table. The BWP FA – U14s – 20111/12s lost a lopsided match versus the Westchester Flames on the road after going down a player and playing short for a substantial amount of time left in the match. The young and inexperienced group continues to battle injuries and is looking to close the margin against older and more inexperienced groups.
